BCD M&E launches Expense tool, providing a secure online reimbursement process for non-employees

CHICAGOJune 19, 2018 – BCD Meetings & Events (BCD M&E) has launched its second key product in their MeetingSource™ platform, Expense, which provides a secure, intuitive process for capturing, verifying and reporting non-employee expense reimbursements and compliance.

 

“The challenge with non-employee reimbursements has traditionally been the cost associated with providing a license to an internal expense system or the time and effort involved in a manual process,” said Ted Stone, SVP, Global Technology & Products. “The MeetingSource™ Expense tool gives the individual, from interns to HCPs, the power to collect and upload their expense data and transfer to their company with ease – all electronically.”

 

MeetingSource™ Expense can be pre-programmed with attendee lists and predetermined expense categories and sub categories to streamline the user experience and ensure compliance. That data can then be easily exported through an extract or API for reimbursement through a client’s AP system, for use in internal reporting or for external compliance to regulations such as Open Payments.

The Expense tool is web-based and mobile friendly, making it convenient for users to upload their expenses as they incur them, at the end of each day, or once they’re back in the office.
