Simple Meetings gives users access to a global sourcing inventory and instantly book meeting space and bedrooms for delegates. The system can be configured to ensure compliance with a company’s meeting and travel policies and BCD M&E says there is no limit on the number of meetings or rooms that can be booked through the tool.

BCD Meetings & Events has signed an agreement to acquire U.K.-based Grass Roots Meetings & Events from Blackhawk Network Holdings. Grassroots Meetings & Events is a division of Grass Roots Group Holdings It specializes in strategic meetings management and attendee management. The acquisition will bring 220 employees to BCD M&E, with local expertise in the U.K., Germany, U.S., Switzerland and Singapore. Grass Roots Meetings & Events manages over £150 million in meeting spend. The company works with three of the Big Four professional services firms, nine of the top 15 investment banks and many other global organizations.
