You’ll be familiar with the location, and the landmark building, but Leonardo have completely overhauled and recreated this hotel’s interiors and amenities. Rooms have city or sea views, with the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse, Bar & Grill and Royal Bar, for food and drink. If you feel like pampering yourself the spa, fully-equipped gym, sauna and swimming pool have you covered.
As Southampton’s largest hotel for conferences and events, there are 13 events rooms accommodating up to 500 guests, and with each space, you can expect a flexible and adaptable space, free WiFi and state-of-the-art equipment.
Situated just two miles from the M3 with excellent transport links, the hotel has a Pub & Grill, Starbucks, state-of-the-art gym and swimming pool.
The most interesting development though is the flexible co-working space (under the VWorks brand) that offers members hot-desking, networking events, with super-fast WiFi and tech, plus energising food and drinks available throughout the day. If it’s just meetings you’re after, there are six separate event spaces with space for up to 60 attendees. There’s a conference café, breakout area and you get a dedicated event manager.
All in all, a valuable addition to the market, and a welcome expansion of the Village brand.

When open Middle Eight’s bar, The Balcony, will be the perfect place to mingle and look out over London. or if a more relaxing vibe is what you are after QT the hotel’s chill zone will offer low key performances and screenings.
A refreshingly simple concept: recreate a treehouse in the City. This original new hotel is tucked away at the top end of Regent Street, close to chic Marylebone High Street, with panoramic London views from its rooftop.

After the success of their Manchester property offering different menu’s on separate floors, the British group has launched their first Asian restaurant in London. With iconic views of St Pauls, the property is centrally located and is a city option that will bring a guaranteed wow factor.
The Private dining room has a capacity for 20 seated on one long table, and 35 in a drinks reception format. The space balances authentic Asian murals with a contemporary vibrant display of aesthetics. The rest of the property itself translates a similar concept in addition to a luminous green patterned floor which is certainly unique to the group and a memorable feature.
After great success in the US, Convene is set to open one of two UK sites in London this year. They will bring a great reputation, five star service, tantalizing F&B options and diverse spaces suitable for a variety of different events. This is certainly a new opening worth keeping tabs on. This all starts with 22 Bishopsgate; a brand new product, centrally located in the heart of the financial district, with a desirable short walking distance away from great transport links.
Convene’s product offers a neutral aesthetic, with modern, state of the art spaces that suit a variety of different event briefs. The property as a whole reaches 50,000 square feet complete with meeting rooms, catering facilities and designated breakout areas. The largest space can accommodate a group size of 320 people, presenting itself in an elite collection of event spaces in the city.
Wallacespace has recently returned to its original home in Covent Garden, the two new buildings are located moments from Holborn and Covent Garden tube stations. The interiors of the two buildings are inspired respectively by music throughout the decades and music icons. As well as priding themselves on customer service, Wallacespace offer all on-site AV included in any room hire package, this includes video conferencing facilities. Their spaces, are designed to inspire innovative thinking and ultimately better outcomes to clients’ meetings, workshops, training and events.
52 Parker Street has 16 meeting rooms which range in capacity from 15 to 80 delegates in theatre style. Each has incredibly flexible lay-out options and all offering natural day-light and air-conditioning. 60 Parker Street has five meeting rooms which are more quirky, for example the furniture is made up of restored vintage pieces. These range in capacity from 16 to 25 and work perfectly in cabaret style.
nhow London was one of the first hotels to open in the capital this decade and is nhow’s second property in the city. nhow is positioned between Angel and Old Street stations and reflects the location with fun, vibrant interior design.
The three meeting spaces would be best suited to creative based, informal style meetings and can accommodate up to 60 delegates in theatre style. The restaurant, Bell and Whistle, can be taken privately for up to 60 and focuses on reducing carbon usage by choosing seasonable vegetables and reducing over-consumption of meat to be more sustainable. The lobby space is available for semi-private drinks receptions and leads up to the 190 bedrooms, 12 of which are fully accessible and can be hired for meetings.
