The Brief

An existing client from Argentina partnered with BCD Sports Argentina to provide a comprehensive event experience for the 2018 FIFA World Cup for an immersive fan-focused football program. Emphasis was placed on bridging cultural language and culinary gaps to provide a seamless experience.

The Solution

BCD provided an experience which combined elements of both global football and Russian culture to transcend the cultural obstacles guests would face when attending the event. Hotel accommodations, meals, hospitality tickets—Match Club, B Seat & Pavilion—24 hour coordination, medical assistance, and private excursions were all coordinated by BCD Sports. In order to ensure quality of services, BCD utilized an existing partnership with TIJE Travel to organize chartered air services, tour guides in Moscow, and logistical support for all groups involved in the program. This guaranteed smooth travel transitions and adequate support for bridging language barriers for all attendees.

The Results

By leveraging our partnership with TIJE Travel and utilizing the logistical support and resources of BCD we were able to provide the client personalized experiences with the high-touch of a boutique agency and the support of a global brand. Our strategic partnerships also allowed for reduced operational costs through better conditions and payment terms, more personalized service and attention to detail, a full BCD Sports on-site presence for support, and the financial backing of the global BCD brand which resulted in a lower spend over the duration of the program for the client.
